The company's strategy is based on a new model of distribution which aims to supply the market with the best Pop Culture products in the main categories: comics, gadgets and board games.

Our Story

2004

MANICOMIX - GIOCHI & FUMETTI shop was born


The story of our company originates from a small retail business in the historic centre of Brescia where Massimo and Lorenzo decided to merge their deep passion for the Pop Culture by opening a specialised shop.

2006

Constant improvement


The project is successfull, soon Manicomix begins to expand by taking over a second business in Brescia, growing from 70 to 200 sq. m. of shop space. The key to success is the constant analysis of the work done, in order to satisfy the most varied customers' requests.

2011

First Warehouse


The sub-distribution to some of the companies on the territory begins in a werehouse of only 400 sq.m. The change of location not only brings with it the product supply but also the know-how and the specific skills for a successful business model.

 

 

 

2013

Growing never stops


The focus on customers' needs and a will to understand their difficulties are the winning ingredients of Manicomix's formula.

The growth doesn't stop: the chain of supply involves more and more shops thus leading to the acquisition of a bigger wharehouse (1000 sq.m.)

2015

For the first time Manicomix obtains the distribution of exclusive products


Several publishers, impressed by the quality of the business management, reach out to Manicomix to build direct supply relationships and joint ventures to protect their products. This creates a virtuous circle for an increasing and widespread presence in the market.

The additional service of "publishing warehouse and logistics" marks Manicomix as an outstanding reliable distribution partner .

 

2016

Warehouse expansion to 3500 sq. m.


In a short period of time, the exponential growth of Manicomix certificates the company as one of the main players in the Italian distribution market, necessitating ever larger logistical spaces.

2017

Sales office grows


The sales office is structured to help maintaining a high customer focus.

The office is divided into two main departments (Book and Extrabook) to meet the different market requests. It counts five people who are directly dedicated to the growth of the suppliers and customers.

2023

A present full of opportunities...


Manicomix's core business today is oriented towards supplying hobby and specialised shops in the fan channel.

Thanks to the advanced IT support and skills it has acquired, Manicomix is able to support structured mass retailers and specialised chains to give to all the realities the best opportunities of the Pop Culture world.

We have built partnerships with some of the main licensors in the sector (Warner Bros, Toei, Funko...) with whom we create win-win strategies aimed at supporting the growth of brands in the market.

Today Manicomix has more than 120 employees and over 150 suppliers.


 

The growth over the years has been amazing.

The passion that guided efforts and decisions of the two founders has been the driving force behind all events.
